US Senator Bernie Sanders and fellow progressive politician Alexandria Ocasio Cortez have been holding a series of events dubbed the "Fight Oligarchy" tour. They’ve been held both in liberal battleground states and more Republican-leaning states.
The rallies are being held as Democrats consider how to reverse their fortunes following Trump’s victory in last November’s presidential race. Midterm elections are due next year and there’s an ongoing debate in the Democratic party about how to counter Trump’s Maga agenda.
