After Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ was unexpectedly canceled by ABC, Bachelor Nation alum Ashley Iaconetti shared her take on the “nuanced” situation. “It’s a good thing they didn’t go forth with the season,” the ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ star told Variety in an interview published April 5, however adding of the last minute call: “That was a decision that should have been made more carefully earlier on.” The ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ was canceled March 19, just two days before its March 22 premiere. At the time, video footage from a physical altercation between Taylor and then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen surfaced. The altercation, for which Taylor later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, subsequently played a major role in the first season of Taylor’s Hulu series.
