The March 30 episode of ‘American Idol’ ended on a cliffhanger—with eliminations for Top 12 still hanging in the balance—due to a delay in vote counts. “We have had five ways to vote tonight,” Ryan shared at the end of the episode. “Tens of millions of votes coming in at a rate we have never seen before. Truly unprecedented."
