Tom Holland is getting real about his brand new role. Over four years after he was announced to play Fred Astaire in a biopic, the ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ star has finally begun the rehearsal process, sharing why he feels some anxiety about taking on the role of the legendary dancer. "I did my first few rehearsals recently, and it both filled me with excitement and absolute dread because I’ve got so much work to do to do Fred proud," Holland shared during an interview with ‘Good Morning America’ that aired on July 20. The 30-year-old—who has been on back-to-back press tours for ‘The Odyssey and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ with wife Zendaya—comes from a dance background, which he hopes will allow him to take full ownership of the role, stating, "I have a desire to use no doubles, to do all of the dancing, to shoot those dances in one shot, how [Fred] would have done it."
