New probate documents have revealed details about the estate of late actress Daveigh Chase. According to filings obtained by E! News, the Lilo & Stitch star died without a will, leaving behind an estate valued at an estimated $400,000, noting that otherwise she had no "real property." The documents show that her mother, Cathy Chase, has petitioned to be appointed administrator of the estate under California law, with a probate hearing scheduled for Aug. 12 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Chase died on June 16 at the age of 35. Records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner list her cause of death as an AIDS-related illness, with substance abuse noted as a significant contributing condition.
