Residents evacuated as fire of ‘exceptional scale’ rages in Fontainebleau forest south of Paris

The fire, which officials described as "very virulent" and of "exceptional scale", began Sunday afternoon in the sprawling Fontainebleau forest about 60 kilometres south-east of the French capital.
