AFC Bournemouth and Fiorentina have agreed a season lengthy mortgage deal for defender Álex Jiménez 🚨

There is an option included to turn the move into a permanent one at €20 million with bonuses. Bournemouth will also hold 30% of any future sale.
The 21-year-old made 32 appearances for Bournemouth last season after initially joining on loan from Milan.
Jimenez is currently the subject of an external investigation, which is still ongoing. Whilst this is in place he can’t play in the UK and is currently suspended.
This move suits all parties and allows Alex to continue playing whilst under the umbrella of AFC Bournemouth.
