Will Democrat Graham Platner Withdraw From Maine Senate Race?
Jessica Taylor, Senate and Governors Editor for the Cook Political Report, says it "absolutely" would be best for Graham Platner to withdraw from Maine’s Senate race after allegations of nonconsensual sexual behavior that he denies, arguing his baggage could undercut Democrats’ effort to unseat Susan Collins in a must-win race for Senate control. Taylor also says Mallory McMorrow’s exit in Michigan sharpens the Democratic primary into a contest between Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed, with national Republicans preferring to face the more progressive El-Sayed. She speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on the late edition of Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power."
