Did FIFA carry Balogun’s match suspension after a Trump telephone name? | DW News
Football’s governing body FIFA is under fire for allegedly reversing a US footballer’s match suspension following an intervention from US President Donald Trump. Did FIFA bend its rules to favor Trump? Was Balogun’s suspension lifted so he could play a key match against Belgium? Biresh Banerjee discusses with DW Sports Correspondent Jonathan Crane.
