Turkish authorities detained comedian Deniz Gotkas over alleged insults to President Erdogan and religious values, days after prosecutors opened an investigation into his social media content and remarks made on stage. Police detained him at Istanbul Airport upon his return from what Gotkas says was a holiday trip abroad. #dwnews
