Ceasefire encourages displaced Lebanese to return residence to south | DW News

Thousands of Lebanese who fled their homes in the south during the fighting between Israel and militant groups in Lebanon are heading home, days after a ceasefire was agreed. The UN says that the break in fighting announced on June 19th is "largely holding" despite reports of two people killed and one wounded by Israeli gunfire in a southern Lebanese town on Tuesday (June 23).
