Global stocks extended their record rally powered by a blistering frenzy in memory chip stocks. That’s after SK Hynix and Micron both saw their market caps top $1 trillion.

The ousted BP Chairman Albert Manifold has pushed back against what he described as a ‘false narrative’ after being fired, just eight months into the job. BP cited serious concerns related to “governance standards, oversight and conduct.” Manifold says he was fired without warning or explanation and will challenge the company’s version of events.
