Texas Primary: Paxton Defeats Cornyn After Securing Trump Nod

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won the state’s Republican Senate runoff, defeating four-term incumbent John Cornyn and setting the stage for a November showdown with Democrat James Talarico.
