MEP Javi López (S&D, Spain) believes the EU’s trade deal with México is an example of the bloc’s "offensive foreign action". Recent deals, including India and Mercosur, show how the EU is "working in the direction" of diversifying its economic relations worldwide, while reducing "dependencies".
