Southampton play-off appeal dismissed
Southampton’s appeal to be reinstated in the play-offs, following their expulsion following ‘Spygate’, has been dismissed.
Despite arguing that the decision was ‘manifestly disproportianate’, the original decision has been upheld.
Middlesbrough will now face Hull City in the Championship play-off final on Saturday, with kick-off at 3.30pm.
