Iran says it’s still considering a US proposal to end the war in the Middle East. The new plan is reportedly just one page long and leaves key US demands unresolved – including the suspension of Iran’s nuclear program. Tehran says it will inform Pakistan of its decision. US president Donald Trump has been upbeat about securing a deal, though one Iranian lawmaker described the text as an American wish-list. We spoke to Middle East analyst Daniel Gerlach, and Simon Mabon, Professor of International Politics in the School of Global Affairs at Lancaster University.
