Ukraine’s refinery assaults expose Russia’s air protection problem | DW News

Black smoke, black rain and now evacuation orders: Ukraine has struck the Tuapse oil refinery for the third time in less than two weeks. The facility has reportedly stopped production entirely, at least three people have been killed, and locals are asking why air defenses failed to stop the attacks.
