Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul shared an update on her religious journey, noting she’d be “detaching” from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.“Born and raised Mormon (Ids) and I’ll always have love and respect towards it,” Taylor wrote on her April 5 Instagram Story, the same day as Easter, with a bandaged heart emoji. “I’ll even continue to go with my family at times, with that being said, it’s time to detach myself from it. I strongly believe in Christ, God, the bible, the divine. I believe we are loved whether we are praying in church building or from a bathroom floor at home.” Despite leaving the church, Taylor—mom to two kids with ex-husband Tate Paul and a toddler with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen—has been relying on her faith as she navigates a rocky period in her life.
