Lizzo revealed she didn’t lose her virginity until she was in her 30s in 2020 due to a pact she made with herself over a career milestone. The Grammy winner shared during the March 31 episode of the ‘Friends Keep Secrets’ podcast—hosted by Benny Blanco, Lil’ Dicky and Kristin Batalucco—”I was a late bloomer. I lied about it for a long time. I just promised myself when I was younger that I wouldn’t have sex until I won a Grammy.” While Lizzo (born Melissa Viviane Jefferson) clarified that "it was not the night of Grammys” that she lost her v-card, she did share that it was within the same year that she nabbed her Grammys for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2020 event.
