Around the world, people are already feeling the economic impact of the Iran war. Gas pumps are first place global consumers are feeling the pinch. Motorists are especially hard hit by higher fuel prices. The increase varies from country to country, with knock-on effects feeding through to the rest of the economy. In an interview on Australian television, the head of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, warned "No country will be immune to the effects of this crisis".
