Kate Middleton looked every bit the princess as she sported her first tiara of the year during the Nigerian state banquet at Windsor Castle March 18. For the occasion, Prince William’s wife opted for her tried and true royal headpiece, the Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara. The Princess of Wales—who joined William in helping King Charles III and Queen Camilla host Nigeria’s president and first lady—wore a green dress which appeared to be a nod to Nigeria’s flag. She also sported earrings from the late Queen Elizabeth II’s collection. The Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara—which was also worn by William’s late mother Princess Diana—has been a favorite of Kate’s throughout her royal life.
