According to the publication, it’s estimated the ‘Jaws’ director is worth $7.1 billion for several reasons, including being the highest grossing film director of all time. He’s earned that title thanks to his iconic films ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘E.T. the Extraterrestrial’, the ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise and more. Not to mention, the 79-year-old also receives profits from Universal Studios every year due to the rides named after his movies. Beyond the amusement park, the ‘Saving Private Ryan’ director—who first appeared on Forbes’ list in 1994, but didn’t secure the top spot until 2025—elevated his cash flow through his production company Amblin Entertainment and being the cofounder of the animation studio DreamWorks.
