Ramadan is one of the holiest months in the Islamic calendar, a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection. Across the world, communities gather to share moments of faith, family and togetherness. In Istanbul, you can also see it in the night sky. As the sun sets and the faithful break their fast, glowing messages appear between the minarets of historic mosques.
