On today’s show, a new flat US tariff of 10% is now in effect for all trading partners, after the Supreme Court struck down Donald Trump’s use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Bloomberg understands the White House is working on a formal order that will increase the global tariff rate to 15%.

A series of warnings about the impact of AI saw payments and software companies tumble on Wall Street, with IBM falling the most in 25 years. But stocks in Asia shrugged off the AI scare trade.
