MEPs trade views with US Ambassador Andrew Puzder

The European Parliament’s committee on foreign affairs meets Andrew Puzder, US Ambassador to the European Union, to discuss the current state of EU–US relations and and their future direction.

The discussion comes at a time of major global challenges, including Russia’s war against Ukraine, growing international competition, and changes in economic and security policies on both sides of the Atlantic.

The committee will talk about how the EU and the United States are working together to tackle these issues, including supporting Ukraine, strengthening security and defence cooperation, ensuring energy security, and managing relations with other global powers.

The exchange will also look at how the EU–US partnership can stay strong and effective in a fast-changing world.
