Jessica Simpson shut down rumors that she’s joining ‘The Bachelorette’ following her split from Eric Johnson. In a recent interview with TMZ, the pop star made it clear she wasn’t looking for love on reality TV, telling the outlet, “I have options. I’m good.” When pressed about how her appearance could boost ratings, Jessica simply replied, “No, I don’t care about that.” Jessica and Eric officially ended their marriage one year ago in Jan. 2025. At the time, the 45-year-old shared a statement with E! News, saying, “Eric and I have been living separately, navigating a painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them.” The former couple shares three children together. Since the split, Jessica opened up about her dating life in an October interview with Extra, admitting, “I think I’m into younger men at the moment. When you’re newly separated, I feel like younger guys kinda like the confidence of an older woman. I’m discovering.
