Trump needs Happy Thanksgiving to ‘radical left lunatics’; Mexico president clarifies name on border, tariffs: Live

The five Republican senators who could thwart Trump’s agenda and nominees

Donald Trump has wished Happy Thanksgiving to all, including “Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed”. Since he entered politics, the president-elect’s pugnacious holiday messages have become something of a tradition.

The president-elect claims to have had a “wonderful” conversation with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum a day after she published a scathing open letter to him about migration, fentanyl trafficking, and tariffs.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that Sheinbaum agreed to “stop migration through Mexico,” which would “effectively” close the southern border.

The Mexican president corrected this account on X: “We reiterate that Mexico’s position is not to close borders but to build bridges between governments and between peoples.”

Meanwhile, at Mar-a-Lago, Trump welcomed Mark Zuckerberg for dinner just months after the president-elect threatened to throw the Meta chief in prison if he attempted to interfere in the election.

Stephen Miller, who was tapped to serve as Trump’s deputy chief of staff for policy, confirmed the meeting to Fox News. A Meta spokesperson told Politico that Zuckerberg was “grateful” for the invitation.

Jesse Watters trolls liberals boycotting Thanksgiving with MAGA in-laws

Jesse Watters is now trolling liberals for boycotting Thanksgiving with their MAGA in-laws after he revealed he wasn’t invited to his mom’s house for the holidays.

The Fox News anchor dedicated a segment to Kamala Harris supporters on Thanksgiving Eve where he mocked them for swerving their Donald Trump-voting relatives over the holidays.

“It’s been three weeks, but can Democrats get it together for Thanksgiving?” Watters asked.

“Instead of preparing a list of things they’re grateful for, Kamala supporters are getting ready to throw hooks while passing the stuffing.”

There’s one key reason Trump could ditch Musk, Maggie Haberman says

New York Times journalist and author Maggie Haberman has revealed the one reason she believes Donald Trump could end up ditching Elon Musk.

Haberman discussed the relationship between the billionaire, who has been at Trump’s side almost constantly since his election victory more than three weeks ago, and the president-elect during an appearance on CNN on Wednesday.

While she said the pair’s relationship appears to be “in good standing” at the moment, Haberman pointed to a potential problem down the line.

Canada ‘already discussing’ retaliatory tariffs in wake of Trump threats

Canada is already looking at retaliatory tariffs just days after Trump announced new levies on Canadian and Mexican imports, a government source said.

The president-elect announced that he plans to introduce a 25 percent tariff on “all products” entering the U.S. from Canada and Mexico and an additional 10 percent tariff on China, prompting fears he has set the stage for a bitter global trade war ahead of his inauguration on January 20, 2025.

Now, Canada is said to have started thinking about what imports from the U.S. to target with tariffs in retaliation, a government official told the Associated Press on Wednesday evening.

Trump’s tariff plans come as he looks to tackle fentanyl smuggling into the U.S. across the northern and southern borders, even though seizures from the Canadian border pale in comparison to the Mexican border.

Canadian officials argue their country is not the problem and that tariffs will have severe implications for both countries.

Dr Oz spends Thanksgiving floggings herbal remedies – from company he invests in

Donald Trump’s pick as administrator to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Dr Mehmet Oz has used Thanksgiving as a springboard to plug herbal remedies from iHerb, a company he invests in.

“Thanksgiving is a perfect excuse for practicing gratitude — which also happens to be a proven way to reduce stress,” he wrote on X on Wednesday.

“You can also reduce stress with adaptogens like ashwagandha from a trusted source like @iHerb. Happy Thanksgiving!”

RFK Jr likened scientists to Nazis and child vaccination to abuse in Catholic Church: report

Vaccine skeptic Robert F Kennedy Jr compared medical institutions like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to a “Nazi death camp” in resurfaced footage from autism conferences for parents.

Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services also compared vaccinating children to “sex abuse in the Catholic church” during remarks at the events.

The comments resurfaced in footage, first reported by NBC News, of RFK Jr speaking at a series of conferences put on by the group AutismOne, which has adopted the slogan “Make our Children Healthy Again.”
