Xabi Alonso has announced that he will leave his role as Bayer Leverkusen head coach at the end of the season.The Spaniard led Leverkusen to a historic 2023/24 campaign, securing both the Bundesliga title and the German Cup while going unbeaten throughout the domestic season.
Alonso has been strongly linked with a move to former club Real Madrid this summer.
