‘What A Jackass!’: Joe Scarborough Stunned By Trump’s Latest Lie

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Monday morning went to city on Donald Trump’s newest story involving an unnamed “sir,” a verbal behavior of the previous president that commentators have beforehand famous just about means he’s about to lie.

“It’s not even a good lie for Donald Trump,” stated the anchor.

Over the weekend, Trump railed towards the NATO army alliance at a marketing campaign rally and claimed, “One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You gotta pay. You gotta pay your bills.”

Scarborough extremely doubted Trump’s model of the occasions.

“Nobody is saying that. What a jackass!” he stated. “How stupid would you have to be in that audience to go, ‘Oh, well, did they really say that? That’s amazing. I can’t believe a big country president would say that.’ It’s just stupid.”

The “Morning Joe” cohost steered Trump was “now so desperate to support [Russian President] Vladimir Putin and undercut America’s allies in Europe, he’s making up a ‘sir’ story?”

“It’s not even a good lie for Donald Trump. Like, this is you can tell he’s losing it,” he stated, later including it was the form of story that even a third-grader would query.
