Trump cancels CNBC interview; Harris to seem with Charlamagne tha God in Detroit
In a combative appearance at the Economic Club of Chicago, Donald Trump clashed with Bloomberg editor John Micklethwait over his tariff plans, refused to accept basic mathematics, swerved a question on his interactions with Vladimir Putin since leaving office, offered his revisionist version of January 6, and again trash-talked Detroit.
This comes amid concerns over his health and mental acuity and the accusation by Democratic rival Kamala Harris that he is “increasingly unstable and unhinged” after a threat over the weekend to deploy the National Guard or even the military against American citizens.
The former president appeared in that state on Monday night when his town hall event in suburban Philadelphia turned into a confused, impromptu dance party when two people in the audience suffered medical emergencies.
Trump was left bizarrely bopping his head on stage for 39 minutes to a selection of pop music and show tunes leading Harris to tweet: “Hope he’s okay.”
Meanwhile, in a move to reach out to Black male voters, Harris will appear at a town hall hosted by Charlamagne Tha God, who is especially popular with the demographic. On Monday the vice president announced a series of new proposals dubbed the “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men.”

Annoyed Trump lashes out at Bloomberg editor when confronted over US economy
Donald Trump lashed out at Bloomberg editor John Micklethwait when confronted over the state of the US economy. Trump took part in a rambling live interview with Bloomberg at the Economic Club of Chicago on Tuesday (15 October). The former US president appeared to get rather irate when editor-in-chief John Micklethwait challenged him on his economic plans. Mr Micklethwait accused Trump of running up “enormous debts” and making false promises, as he quoted a story in The Wall Street Journal. Trump responded: “What does The Wall Street Journal know? They’ve been wrong about everything. “So have you, by the way, you’ve been wrong. “You’ve been wrong all your life on this stuff.”
DJT shares briefly halted after Trump Media stock plunge
First, Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Trump’s Truth Social platform, seemed set to continue on its recent hot streak, which saw the share price increase by 18 percent on Monday and then another roughly 10 percent on Tuesday morning.
It was a shocking comeback after the stock hit an all-time low just three weeks ago, a rally that temporarily added an estimated $2bn to the value of the former president’s majority stake in the company.
However, around 2:20pm ET, the share price began to plunge dramatically.
