Suspect lifeless after opening fireplace close to White House | DW News

This is the moment a reporter was forced to duck for cover as shots rang out near the White House. The US Secret Service says a man who opened fire at a security checkpoint was shot dead by officers. One bystander was caught in the crossfire, but authorities have not yet commented on their condition.
