SpaceX’s second take a look at flight of its large Starship rocket ended early Saturday when the uncrewed automobile’s spacecraft blew up, although the launch made it farther than the corporate’s earlier try.

SpaceX stated it misplaced contact with the Starship spacecraft about quarter-hour after launching from the corporate’s spaceport east of Brownsville, Texas, round 8 a.m. ET. A self-destruct mechanism appeared to set off after contact was misplaced, exploding the craft, in keeping with a SpaceX livestream.
