Australia head coach Eddie Jones admits he may lose his job if the Wallabies are defeated by Wales on Sunday and exit at the group stage of the World Cup for the first time in their history
Fiji recorded a shock 22-15 victory against Australia in Pool C which left the race to qualify for the quarter-finals wide-open and marked the team’s sixth loss in seven Tests this year.
Meanwhile, France captain Antoine Dupont’s Rugby World Cup campaign is in doubt after scans confirmed he fractured his jaw in Thursday’s win over Namibia.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury in the 46th minute via a head-to-head clash with Johan Deysel, whose initial yellow card was upgraded to a red after a bunker review.
Coach Fabien Galthie spoke after the game and admitted that "there was a suspicion of a crack or fracture of the maxillary bone".
