Netherlands bridge collapse leaves 2 lifeless

A bridge collapse within the Netherlands has left two lifeless and two injured, Dutch regional authorities mentioned Wednesday. 

Dutch security officers from the north and japanese elements of the Gelderland area mentioned on X, previously Twitter, that the collapse within the metropolis of Lochem was as a result of an “industrial accident.” The bridge is underneath building.

A journalist from Dutch newspaper De Stentor witnessed the accident.

In a publish on X,  outgoing Dutch PM Mark Rutte referred to as the stories of a critical accident “tragic.” He wished “much strength” to the bereaved households and people impacted by the accident.  

The Gelderland province additionally reacted to the information on-line, saying it “affected us deeply.”
