The Premier League returns as Chelsea visit Leicester City in the early kick-off, with Enzo Maresca facing his former side for the first time.
Maresca helped Leicester secure promotion back to the Premier League last season and the Italian then landed the Chelsea job following the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino. Maresca has started brightly at Chelsea, with the Blues seemingly recovering from a turbulent spell to sit third in the table ahead of the restart.
Challenging for the top-four has become a real target for Maresca’s new side, while Leicester attempt to distance themselves from the relegation places under Steve Cooper. The Foxes have won just two of their first 11 games since promotion, with victories over Bournemouth and Southampton last month, but they are winless since.

44 mins: CHANCE! Chelsea almost make Leicester pay on the counter-attack. Jackson is released down the left with the whole half to run into. He swings a cross towards the back post, finding Madueke. But the winger can’t steer his effort back on target, after Hermansen had come out to try and claim it.

42 mins: Chance! Leicester could quite easily be level. Victor Kristiansen gets some space down the left wing and pulls a cross back into the box. It breaks to Wilfred Ndidi, who scuffs his shot in front of the posts. There were bodies in the way, but he had to hit the target there.

40 mins: What is Robert Sanchez doing? The goalkeeper plays a loose ball to Moises Caicedo, who is almost caught by Soumare in the box. The Chelsea midfielder is booked for his complaints. But Chelsea are inviting pressure needlessly, after what had been a dominant first half until the last few minutes.

38 mins: CLOSE! Much better form Leicester, who spring forward through Skipp. He finds Kasey McAteer, who cuts inside from the right wing and skims a shot just wide of the far post. That was not far away at all.
More importantly, that gets the home fans back into it.

37 mins: Leicester win a free-kick in the Chelsea half, giving the hosts a rare opportunity to cross the ball towards Robert Sanchez. The Chelsea goalkepeer was not very convincing dealing with the high ball, coming out for the cross before letting it drift behind.

34 mins: Confirmed, no goal. Cucurella was offside, but not by much. That was a confident finish from the in-form Madueke, and a sublime pass from Palmer. The Chelsea second is coming, though, unless Leicester can get a grip on this game. It’s been so one-sided.
