Celebrity Big Brother 2025 LIVE: Mickey Rourke says he’s ‘ashamed’ after being eliminated

Moment Mickey Rourke furiously confronts Chris Hughes in Celebrity Big Brother bust up

Celebrity Big Brother is in full swing – and in the past week, we’ve seen a new selection of famous (and not-so-famous) faces live together in the reality show house.

EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, presenter Trisha Goddard, and Coronation Street actor Jack Shepherd are all facing the public vote tonight.

Michael Fabricant was the first to be evicted, with The Wrestler actor Mickey Rourke removed after a chaotic six-day stint.

Rourke, 72, had been at the centre of controversy since his entrance when he “ogled” presenter AJ Odudu. He later faced calls to be removed after making homophobic comments to Jojo Siwa.

He was ultimately thrown off the show by producers for “inappropriate sexual language” aimed at The Only Way is Essex star Ella Rae Wise, 24, as well as “threatening and aggressive” behaviour towards former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes, 32.

Rourke grew irate when Hughes, in character as a pirate for a shopping task, “eyeballed” him. Rourke later apologised to Hughes, and told Big Brother he was “ashamed” of his actions and blamed it on his “short fuse”.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the programme told The Independent: “Housemates are monitored 24 hours a day and instances of inappropriate behaviour are dealt with appropriately and timely.” Rourke’s representatives declined to comment.

Tonight’s episode (15 April) sees another live eviction, with Jack P Shepherd, Patsy Palmer, and Trisha Goddard in danger.

The series continues at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.

Patsy Palmer received the most nominations

Here’s why Jojo Siwa nominated her:

“Patsy has been an asset to the house. She’s been cooking, she’s been beautiful, she’s been amazing. But I have seen a side of Patsy that has been a bit, I like to call it finger pointy.

“I think team players are what we need in the house, and I think Patsy hasn’t really shown that in the last few days.”

Mickey Rourke made Big Brother contestants feel vulnerable and scared, host says

Celebrity Big Brother contestants felt “vulnerable” and a “bit scared” after Mickey Rourke made threats of physical violence during a task, the show’s co-host Will Best has said on This Morning.

“I can’t repeat exactly what Mickey said, but it was bad, and it made not just Chris – Chris handled it very well – but it made the rest of the house feel vulnerable, a bit scared.”

Trisha and Patsy are both up for eviction. But part of the reason is because the presenter said they were too different to get on, “I’m from New York and you’re from LA.”

They both used the example to explain why they’d nominated each other.
