Canada Inflation Continues to Ease to three.1% in October

OTTAWA—Inflation in Canada once more cooled in October as costs on the pump dropped, including weight to expectations that the central financial institution’s aggressive rate-rising marketing campaign is over regardless of some pressures nonetheless being felt by Canadians.

Consumer costs edged up 0.1% in October and rose 3.1% from a 12 months earlier, the slowest tempo since June and properly beneath than the height of 8.1% hit in the midst of final 12 months, Statistics Canada stated Tuesday.
