Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made a new push for peace, calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin to enter direct negotiations to end the war.
In an open letter, Zelenskyy proposed a leaders’ summit, a ceasefire during talks, and an all-for-all prisoner exchange. But he also openly mocked the Russian president, referencing recent Ukrainian strikes on St. Petersberg and Russian losses on the frontlines.
