EU lawmakers seem to be betting President Donald Trump won’t check the fine print of their latest plans for EU-US trade deal. Legislators struck a provisional agreement on EU terms for implementing the pact on Wednesday, voting to add “safeguards” in case the US breaches rules down the line. Trump had lashed out at the EU over delays to the deal, giving Europe an ultimatum earlier this month: Cut tariffs by July or face higher duties.
