Sarah Michelle Gellar shared that she chose to step back from acting and her career to focus on her family after experiencing the death of ‘The Crazy Ones’ costar Robin Williams in 2014. ‘The Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ star revealed on the ‘Shut Up Evan’ podcast Jan. 7, that having children back-to-back, coupled with Williams’ unexpected passing hit her, “and I just said I needed to take a break. And I’m so glad I did on so many levels.” Williams died by suicide on August 11, 2014, at age 63.
