Matthew Fox, who stars in Paramount+ series ‘The Madison,’ exclusively explained to E! News how the ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff’s filming location in Montana felt close to home. “I actually grew up in northwestern Wyoming, which is not very far south of where ‘The Madison’ takes place,” Matthew said at the show’s March 9 premiere in New York. “The Wind River Valley where I grew up looks a lot like the same desert strata, into the pine and above tree line, and the rivers are very wide. It felt like home to me.” The show’s scenery wasn’t the only detail that made Matthew—who shares kids Kyle, 28, and Byron, 25, with wife Margherita Ronchi—fall in love with the plot. The ‘Lost’ alum also adored how much his character’s relationship with brother Preston Clyburn (played by Kurt Russell) and their love for fishing reminded him of his bond with his own siblings. Catch the actor in Taylor Sheridan’s new Western show ‘The Madison’ when it hits Paramount+ on March 14.
