The United States and Iran have exchanged fire for an eighth consecutive day. This comes as two US soldiers were killed by an Iranian strike in Jordan. Jordanian media say the country’s armed forces also shot down three Iranian missiles on Sunday. Iran also targeted US bases in Kuwait with a flurry of rockets over the weekend. Both Washington and Tehran have dismissed the memorandum of understanding signed between the US and Iran just over a month ago.
