A Ukrainian drone strike has hit an oil refinery in Moscow – reportedly the largest attack on the Russian capital since the war began. Airports were briefly shut down, and residential buildings were also hit, as thick black smoke filled the skyline. Kyiv says it was retaliation for recent Russian strikes on Kyiv, while Moscow is warning of a massive response. The attack underscores Ukraine’s growing ability to strike deep inside Russia – and raises new concerns about how far the conflict could escalate. Could this mark a turning point in the war?
