President Trump said that he asked FIFA to review the red card on Team USA top scorer Folarin Balogun because he didn’t believe it was a foul. The controversial red card was suspended and Balogun is expected to play in the US’s round of 16 game against Belgium. Trump maintained he had nothing to do with decision to reverse the red card, telling reporters that he only said he thought it should be reviewed because Balogun ‘didn’t do anything wrong.’
