President Donald Trump took to social media on Thursday to further air his grievances about “radical left judges, ” aka anyone who imposes barriers to his mass deportation plans.
Trump, who has been widely accused of violating the U.S. Constitution on numerous occasions, baselessly argued that rulings and decisions from judges who he disagrees with could “very well lead to the destruction of our Country!”
“These Judges want to assume the Powers of the Presidency, without having to attain 80 Million Votes. They want all of the advantages with none of the risks. Again, a President has to be allowed to act quickly and decisively about such matters as returning murderers, drug lords, rapists, and other such type criminals back to their Homeland, or to other locations that will allow our Country to be SAFE,” Trump said on Truth Social.
“It is our goal to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and such a high aspiration can never be done if Radical and Highly Partisan Judges are allowed to stand in the way of JUSTICE,” Trump continued. “If Justice Roberts and the United States Supreme Court do not fix this toxic and unprecedented situation IMMEDIATELY, our Country is in very serious trouble!”
Trump has often been critical of judges, or anyone who disagrees with him really. His latest post comes after he used the 1798 Enemy Aliens Act, which has not been used since World War II, on Saturday to expedite his mass deportation plans.
The Trump administration flew hundreds of Venezuelan immigrants, arguing they were dangerous gang members without providing evidence, to a prison in El Salvador against the orders of Judge James Boasberg, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C.
Boasberg requested specific information about the migrant flights, but what Justice Department officials provided was late and “woefully insufficient,” according to Boasberg. Boasberg has doubled down on the demand for more information.
In another Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump accused Boasberg, who has ruled in favor of Trump on multiple occasions, of “doing everything in his power to usurp the Power of the Presidency.”
“He is a local, unknown Judge, a Grandstander, looking for publicity, and it cannot be for any other reason, because his ‘Rulings’ are so ridiculous, and inept. SAVE AMERICA!”
On Tuesday, Trump had called for Boasberg to be impeached and referred to him as a “Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge.”

That prompted a rare statement from U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, who seemingly called Trump out for demanding that Boasberg be impeached.
“For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,” Roberts said in the statement. “The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”
Trump and other Republicans’ attacks on judges during Trump’s current administration have been linked to judges receiving increased threats of violence.
