Thomas Partey has been charged with two additional counts of rape by the Crown Prosecution Service and Met Police.
The former Arsenal midfielder is already charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, in connection to allegations by three women which took place between 2021 and 2022.
The CPS confirmed to Sky Sports News on Thursday 12 February that the two new charges relate to a separate report of non-recent offences in 2020 involving a fourth women and follow a new investigation by the Met Police.
He will appear at the Westminster Magistrates Court of Friday March 13.
Partay denies all charges.
