Dylan Carter’s loved ones are mourning a tremendous loss. Nearly three years after the aspiring singer competed on season 24 of ‘The Voice,’ he died April 25 in Colleton County, S.C, his nonprofit The Local Voice confirmed. He was 24. "With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dylan Carter, co-founder of The Local Voice, talented musician, and someone who meant so much to our community," the organization—which raises funds for women battling cancer—shared on Facebook April 26. Colleton County law enforcement officials—who did not identify the victim—told TMZ that a person was killed in a single-car accident on the Lowcountry Highway. E! News has reached out to authorities for further details and has not heard back. Dylan joined Reba McEntire’s team during his time on the singing competition after earning chair turns from the "Consider Me Gone" singer, as well as John Legend, Gwen Stefani and Niall Horan during his blind audition.
