🇪🇺 The Treaty of Nice was signed 25 years ago, laying the foundations for the EU’s biggest enlargement.
The changes introduced by the Treaty strengthened the European Union, making it more powerful and better equipped for the future, paving the way for the inclusion of 10 new Central and Eastern European countries, as well as Cyprus and Malta.
