He also backs Trump’s proposed weaponization fund while saying he won’t seek taxpayer compensation himself, predicts Raúl Castro will leave Cuba before the US “pick[s] him up,” and says Republicans will hold Texas despite the bruising Cornyn-Paxton primary.
