King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump for a state dinner at the White House April 28 in honor of their historic state visit. Camilla donned a bright pink Fiona Clare gown for the occasion, which featured an embroidered top and flowy pleated skirt. The 78-year-old completed her look with an amethyst and diamond necklace that once belonged to Queen Victoria and is part of the Kent Amethyst Demi-Parure collection, which dates back to 1818. Melania also opted for a pink look, wearing a blush-colored, one-shoulder Dior gown with draping along the bodice and skirt. The 56-year-old paired the outfit with white Dior suede gloves. As for King Charles, 77, and President Trump, 79, the two kept classic, wearing black tail tuxedos and white bowties. Charles and Camilla began their state visit on April 27 to mark 250 years since the United States of America announced its separation from Great Britain during the Revolutionary War.
